Whenever you enter new task planning (planned hours) and hour realizations (actual hours), or edit any existing information in the corresponding entry screens, the information is not updated automatically. You need to click the Recalculate button in order to recalculate the planned and realized hours so that it will be reflected accordingly in the Realizations page.

You can also access this page when you click the Recalculate button at Project/Reports/Planning and Realizations/Project: Realizations.
To recalculate the planned and realized hours, function right 231 – Maintain labels of free fields and view job activity report is required. Users with the Division Project Administrator role have this function right.
For more details on what you can do with function rights or levels, go to System/Setup/Security/Function rights, select the required module, and then click on the relevant ID. To find out the functions you can perform with a particular role, go to System/Setup/Security/Roles, type in the description, click Refresh, and then click the required link under the Role column.
Click this to start recalculating the planning and realizations in the defined year. You will see a message "This process may take some time. Continue?" Click OK to continue the process or Cancel to cancel the recalculation.
Click this to exit.
Select a year to recalculate the planning and realizations in this year.
